
Jay’Lana is a dedicated student at the Massachusetts College of Art, where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and Photography. With a passion for visual storytelling, she combines her creative talents with her academic pursuits. In addition to her studies, Jay’Lana serves as an Administrative Support staff for our virtual support groups and an intern in photography gaining valuable hands-on experience in the art and photography fields.
Kevin is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling at William James College in Newton, MA. With a strong commitment to supporting others, he works as our Mental Health Consultant, providing valuable insights and guidance to those in need. Additionally, Kevin contributes his skills as a member of the Marketing Support Team, working to promote mental health awareness and resources within the community. His passion for mental health and dedication to helping others make him a valuable asset in both his academic and volunteer pursuits.
Maudrie Depradine is our Peer Support Advocate. She is a dedicated mother who has tragically lost a child to fentanyl poisoning. Fueled by her personal experience, she is committed to providing compassionate support and advocacy for families facing the devastating impact of substance use and grief.
Her mission is to empower families to navigate their healing journeys while advocating for systemic change, ensuring that no other family has to endure the same heartbreak. Through her work, she aims to create a community of support, understanding, and hope for those affected by substance use disorders.
Reverend Wayne Sylvester Daley, MDiv, earned his Master of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School (affiliated with Yale Divinity School). He has served in multiple pastoral and ministerial roles, including associate minister at St. Paul AME, Minister to Men and Senior Associate Minister at Historic Charles Street AME, and pastor of St. Mark Congregational Church (UCC). Rev. Daley has extensive experience in reentry, community relations, diversion programs, and corrections-related education through roles with the Boston TenPoint Coalition, Plymouth County House of Corrections (Louis D. Brown Peace Institute), and as Boston Reentry Coordinator. He has partnered with numerous community agencies (police units, fire department, Project Right, Haley House, Massachusetts Black Alcoholism & Addiction Council, and others) and served on several boards and coalitions. He formerly served as Deputy Director of Community Engagement for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, provides bereavement support to funeral homes and homicide survivors, and is a Male Ally for My Life My Choice. In June 2024 he was appointed (and later re-appointed) Pastor of Bethel AME Church in Providence, RI, and he currently serves as a Curry College chaplain and on the Police Accountability and Transparency Civilian Review Board and the Black Ministerial Alliance – TenPoint.
Monroe Sanyeneh is a dedicated community outreach professional with a strong background in youth mentorship, community service, and leadership development. Born in Liberia, Monroe and his family arrived in the United States as refugees in 1994 after fleeing civil war. He was raised by his grandmother, who served as his guardian and instilled in him the values of resilience, responsibility, and service that guide his work today.
Monroe earned a degree in Communications with a minor in Leadership from the University of Rhode Island. While at URI, he became an active member—and two-term vice president—of Brothers On a New Direction (BOND), a service-focused brotherhood committed to empowering young men of color. In that role, he planned and executed campus- and community-based initiatives including a college-immersion program for high school seniors that paired students with university mentors to attend classes and experience campus life, outreach assemblies at local high schools, and participation in community health events such as the annual Breast Cancer Walk of Rhode Island.
As the Community Outreach Coordinator for Mothers Against Drugs, Monroe will be instrumental in facilitating community events focused on harm reduction and substance use awareness. His proactive approach will ensure that events run smoothly and that essential resources are readily available to participants, fostering a supportive environment for promoting recovery and education. Through this role, Monroe aims to strengthen community ties and empower individuals with the knowledge and resources they need to create safer, healthier environments.
Lovelee's journey has been shaped by significant challenges, including Substance Use Disorder, multiple incarcerations, homelessness, mental health struggles, and trauma. Through resilience and a steadfast commitment to recovery, spirituality, and various pathways to healing, he has transformed his life.
In overcoming these obstacles, Lovelee has turned his pain into purpose and his purpose into a passionate mission to inspire change in others. He derives immense fulfillment from helping individuals navigate their own journeys toward recovery. His dedication is evidenced by his extensive involvement with numerous organizations and institutions, including STEPRox Recovery Support Center, Whittier Street Health Center, North Suffolk Community Services, Mass General Hospital, Boston Medical Center, Tufts Medical Center, Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department, Barbara McInnis (BPHC), Nubian Square Task Force, Metro Boston Alive, and the City of Boston Mayor’s Office. Lovelee has also served as a guest lecturer on Addiction and Cultural Competency at prestigious institutions like Harvard University and Tufts University School of Medicine.As a champion of hope and resilience, Lovelee is excited to take on the role of support for MADMOM's Virtual Dad Speak Week. In this capacity, he will lend his voice and experience to empower participants, guiding them through their unique challenges and inspiring them to reclaim their lives. Lovelee firmly believes that anyone can rise above their adversities and transform their mess into a powerful message. Through his continued advocacy, he seeks to motivate both individuals and communities to embrace a brighter future.
